The United States Supreme Court refused George L. Young’s Petition for a Writ of Certiorari and ended Young’s machinations in Court by doing so.
The Court’s ruling issued in late June leaves Young with no other ways to challenge the ultimate disposition of the bankruptcy proceedings against him.
The Bankruptcy Court did issue Young a limited discharge from his indebtedness. The discharge does not include those matters declared non-dischargeable by separate judgments. This is a relatively insignificant fact because Young will likely be incarcerated the rest of his life and have no assets or earnings in the future.
