DLG Featured In Lymphoma News Today Over Monsanto Roundup Investigation

|

Domina Law Group was featured in Lymphoma News Today regarding the firm’s investigation into cases of farmers who developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma, potentially in connection to glyphosate exposure.

Lymphoma News Today released an article today featuring Domina Law Group’s investigation into cases of farmers who developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma after exposure to the herbicide glyphosate. Glyphosate is the main ingredient in Monsanto’s weed killer product Roundup.

On July 29, 2015, The World Health Organization placed glyphosate on its list of substances that are “probably carcinogenic to humans,” but the chemical is still found in agricultural, industrial, and household products throughout the United States.

The article details Domina’s position that the demographic perhaps most at risk for glyphosate exposure is farm workers who may have experienced dermal exposure or exposure by inhalation.

“Claims against Monsanto for ‘Farmer’s Cancer’ have been many years in the making,” said Domina. “It has not been a matter of if, but rather when.”

Because of the July 29, 2015 announcement, the time Nebraska farmers have to file their case to recover for cancer may expire on July 29, 2016 or sooner. If you were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and your state has a one-year discovery rule, your claims could be forever barred on July 29, 2016 or sooner. For those of you diagnosed within the past four years, your claim may expire on the fourth anniversary of your diagnosis.

Were you diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma or another type of cancer due to Roundup exposure?
